TAIWAN INTERNATIONAL PRINT BIENNIA

“Taiwan International Print Biennial” (former “International Biennial Print Exhibit R.O.C.”) is one of the longest running international print exhibitions in the world today. The mission of the event is to promote international cultural exchange, and to strengthen the mutual understanding of artistic values between the East and the West.

ELIGIBILITY:

Worldwide artists are eligible to take part, and Entry id free

Each submitted work must not be larger than 150cm in either length or width in paper size (not image size), and no smaller than 40cm in either length or width. The work must not be more than 20cm thick. 
A signature must be made either on the printed side or the back of the artwork, noting the print edition and year of creation. The signature must be clear and discernable.

All entries must be original prints on paper, including monotypes and digital prints. Prints on materials other than paper are not considered for this biennial.

The work must be completed in or after 2021, wholly original and have not been exhibited in previous editions of the “2024 Taiwan International Print Biennial

Each entrant is allowed to submit one piece of work only. Co-authored or collaborative works will not be accepted.

The artwork should NOT be framed before shipping. The museum will frame the artwork for you.

CHARLES R. WALL CONSERVATION LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT FELLOWSHIP

ELIGIBILITY:

They seek to engage young African leaders and professionals in the
environment space who have:

Have a demonstrated interest in conservation and environmental
sustainability.

Have a minimum of 3 years experience working in the environmental space. Can be employed, a freelancer, a volunteer, or a founder of an entity. (Areas of practice considered include but are not limited to, conservation biology, enterprise development, tourism, communications, human resources, finance, community development, etc.)

Have a proven inclination to supporting communities that you either live or work with.

Proven creativity skills to make meaningful contributions in the sphere of work.

Are an African living and working in an African country.

Are between age the ages of 20 and 35.

Minimum of a diploma in any field. Applicants with compelling applications based on experience may be considered regardless of academic qualification.

Can demonstrate management skills.

Have a good command of the English language. The training is open to

candidates from francophone countries in the continent but should have basic English writing and speaking skills. Some training materials and sessions may be translated to French.

BENEFIT:

This is a fully funded fellowship that caters for the following:

Air travel to and from home country and ground transport for the physical workshop in Nairobi in May

Accommodation during in-person workshops and any program-related activity that requires relocation, like the placement

Stipend to cover data bundles for the virtual sessions

Personalised coaching support during the program to deliver the innovation project
