In honor of the exceptional contributions international scholars make to Duke University, applications are open for intellectually and civically engaged cohort of international students who promote interdisciplinary inquiry, academic research, and scholarship in the service of society. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Current cohort of scholars includes students from Brazil, Chile, England, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Iran, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, South Korea, Tunisia, Vietnam, Wales, and Zimbabwe.  

Candidates with strong academic preparation and documented need for financial aid.

VANIER CANADA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS (VANIER CGS)

Application Deadline for Nominating Institution: November 1, 2023 (20:00 EDT).

LOCATION: Canada

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) program helps Canadian institutions attract highly qualified doctoral students.

ELIGIBILITY:

Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada and foreign citizens are eligible to be nominated for a Vanier CGS.

Candidates must be nominated by a Canadian institution with a quota* to host Vanier scholars. Candidates should only seek a nomination from the institution at which they want to study.

Areas of research: Health research, Natural sciences and/or engineering and Social sciences and humanities
