POSTERHEROES 2026 – STILL HUMAN INTERNATIONAL CONTEST

Application Deadline: 31st July 2026

LOCATION: Italy

Posterheroes 2026 – Still Human is an illustration, graphic design, and social communication competition organized by the non-profit Cultural Association Plug, with the support of Favini S.r.l., ITCILO and Fondazione Time2 (hereinafter the “Organizers”).

Posterheroes 15 – Still Human invites designers and creatives to explore the jagged boundary between delegation and responsibility, automation and choice, efficiency and creativity, generation and creation, norms and transformation. The goal is not to judge technology but to make its effects and imaginaries visible.

ELIGIBILITY:

Participation in the competition is completely free of charge and open to all individuals of legal age, both Italian and international.

Participation is open to both individual authors and groups.

In the case of group participation, a team leader must be appointed, who will be fully responsible to the organizers.

Participation is possible exclusively through the website http://www.posterheroes.org, by following the procedure below:

Registration on the platform http://www.posterheroes.org.

The form must be completed in English, the only language accepted in the competition.

Registration will create a private user profile through which the participant or team leader may upload their entry/entries within the deadlines—see “Deadlines” at point 5.

At the time of submission, participants must provide personal information used for statistical purposes and logistical organization; in particular, the data will be used by the organizers to send the competition calendar (in case of selection).

The email address provided during registration will be used for all communications with participants.

Upload of entries: Once the profile has been created, users may upload files at any time within the competition deadlines and may edit, delete, or replace their entries until the official deadline—see “Deadline” at point 5.

Section results: After the deadline, the jury and organizers will proceed with the selection of the winning posters and communicate the results.

Each participant may submit up to a maximum of three (3)—see see “Technical requirements” at point

During the jury process, the top 150 participants will be asked via email to submit the original open file (required for exhibitions, the calendar, and proof of authorship).

Files must meet the following specifications:

70 × 100 cm

300 dpi

Open/editable format (e.g., PSD, AI, Procreate, etc.)
