THE CITY LAW SCHOOL DEAN’S SCHOLARSHIP FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

The City Law School is firmly committed to a generous programme of scholarships awarded on the basis of academic excellence. The Dean’s Scholarship – a full-fee scholarship – is offered to the most outstanding candidates across all postgraduate and professional programmes in The City Law School.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must hold an upper second or first degree (or international equivalent)

You must hold an offer of a place on one of the courses specified below at The City Law School. The offer can be conditional or unconditional and you do not need to have accepted your place in order to apply for a scholarship

You can be of any fee paying status (Home, EU or international) and be studying full-time or part-time.

If you are applying for the Graduate Entry LLB, the scholarship application is only available to those who hold an offer of a place on the UCAS web portal.

HARVARD LAW SCHOOL REGINALD F. LEWIS FELLOWSHIP

Application Deadline: Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Harvard Law School will offer the Reginald F. Lewis Fellowship, with an appointment expected to commence on July 1, 2025. The Fellowship is designed to support a recent law graduate who has demonstrated a strong interest in legal scholarship and who is preparing for a career in law teaching.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants of any nationality can apply.

Open to individuals who have recently completed their law degree.

There is no discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.

Passion to pursue a career as a legal scholar or law teacher.

A strong interest in the legal field is essential.

Basic Qualifications (at the time of application): J.D., LL.M or S.J.D. degree

a comprehensive résumé  or curriculum vitae,

a detailed (four pages maximum) description of the research and writing project that will be undertaken with a view to publication during the Fellowship,

a statement of the applicant’s interest in law teaching and legal scholarship (four pages maximum), including a description of the fields in which the applicant expects to teach and pursue scholarship,

copies of all transcripts, and

two letters of reference addressing the applicant’s potential for success as a legal scholar and law teacher.

BENEFIT:

The Lewis Fellow will receive an annual stipend of $60,000. The Lewis Fellow is expected to be in residence at Harvard Law School during the academic year.
