RADBOUD UNIVERSITY MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME FOR NON-EEA STUDENTS

The Radboud Scholarship Programme is a very selective scholarship programme. It offers talented, highly motivated, non-EEA students with outstanding study results the opportunity to be awarded a scholarship for a complete English-taught Radboud University Master’s programme.

ELIGIBILITY:

hold a non-EU/non-EEA passport.

are not eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fee for other reasons.

have (will obtain) a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands, and did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands (exchange programmes excluded, provided that they are part of the Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands).

meet the English language proficiency requirement for the Master’s programme of your choice.

have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master’s programme starting 1 September 2026 as stated in the formal letter of admission.

are able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands.

are enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master’s programme for which the scholarship will be awarded.

In case you are selected as a scholarship recipient and you are admitted to a two-year Master’s programme: to qualify for the grant again for the second year, you need to have passed all courses in the first year.

The Radboud Scholarship can be combined with the NL Scholarship.

For 2026/2027, a maximum of 33 Radboud Scholarships are available at the following faculties: Faculty of Arts (4), Faculty of Law (4), Nijmegen School of Management (6), Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies (3), Faculty of Science (8), and Faculty of Social Sciences (8).

BENEFIT:

A Radboud Scholarship will reduce your tuition fee to €2,695. For example, a grant holder in 2026/2027 will pay a tuition fee of only €2,695 instead of €18,000 (depending on your programme). The scholarship also covers costs for a visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance for your stay in the Netherlands (Aon Student Insurance). The costs of living and studying in the Netherlands are not covered by the scholarship.

LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY AGRICULTURAL CENTER (STATE) GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT IN AQUACULTURE SYSTEMS AND STRESS TOLERANCE

The School of Renewable Natural Resources at Louisiana State University Agricultural Center is seeking applicants for one Ph.D. assistantship or one M.S. assistantship starting as early as January or May 2026, depending on candidate availability. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Minimum Qualification Requirements: 

B.S. in aquatic biology, zoology, fisheries or wildlife management, or related field

Research experience in laboratory or field settings

Strong written and oral communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively

Valid U.S. driver’s license (or ability to obtain one within 60 days of start date)

GPA of at least 3.0 (overall) or 3.5 (last 60 hours); GRE preferred but not required

Overnight travel and fieldwork required; ability to work in challenging conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in aquaculture or animal husbandry

Experience with physiological or biomarker assays (e.g., respirometry)

Interest in building a lab environment and helping establish core workflows

R programming, data management, or GIS skills are a plus

Applicants must have 3.0 overall undergraduate GPA or a 3.5 in the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate courses. Completion of GRE with satisfactory scores is preferred. Applicants must have a valid U.S. driver’s license or be able to obtain the same within 60 days of start. Overnight travel is required. An offer is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check.

BENEFIT:

The assistantship is half-time (20 hours/week) and includes a 12-month stipend of $28,000/year (MS) or $31,000/year (PhD), full tuition coverage, graduate fee support, and 75% graduate student health care coverage.
