MASSEY UNIVERSITY: CATHERINE BAXTER DAIRY SCHOLARSHIP

Applications open 10 December 2024; Deadline: 10 March 2025.

LOCATION: New Zealand

This scholarship is funded from an endowment to Massey Agricultural College by Thomas Nimmo Baxter in 1933, an Auckland barrister and solicitor, in memory of his wife Catherine Baxter (nee Stuart) for students who want to undertake research in the area of dairy science at postgraduate level.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must:

be studying full-time

be an enrolled Massey University student

be studying in a specific subject area.

Include the following with your application:

your academic transcripts for any tertiary study completed outside of Massey University

a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you and your study, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award, with particular reference to the relevance of your study to dairy science

a copy of your Massey University transcripts and current enrolment. You can download your Study History Report from the Student Portal, under ‘Results and Exams’.

UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: 24 October 2024 (Semester One 2025 intake) and 1 April 2025 (Semester Two 2025 intake)

LOCATION: Auckland

The main purpose of these scholarships is to attract new international students of high calibre to enrol full-time in undergraduate or postgraduate study of one year or more at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for Scholarship consideration, an applicant must:

be an international student

be either a new student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, or an English Language Academy (ELA) student who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, or a student enrolled, or enrolling, in the Summer Start International programme who has received a conditional or unconditional offer of admission and

be enrolled, or enrolling, full-time in either a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) or masters degree, or an undergraduate degree (applying with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications) at Waipapa Taumata, Rau, University of Auckland

Students who have already commenced study at Waipapa Taumata Rau,
University of Auckland, excluding study in the Summer Start International program.
