BARD COLLEGE BERLIN INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB) SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is intended to support graduates of the IB diploma program with a strong academic record who desire to study at Bard College Berlin.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants for the IB Scholarships must:

Apply for admission to one of the BA programs

Earn a full International Baccalaureate diploma with excellent predicted final results in a challenging subject combination.

Demonstrate financial need The tuition waivers are renewable for four years contingent on the recipients’ maintenance of a B average or better.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants should have, or expect to achieve, at least a 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomaterials, Bioengineering, or a related subject. A relevant Master’s degree and/or experience in polymer processing, polymer extrusion and compression moulding, materials characterisation, and nanomaterials like carbon nanotubes and graphene nanoplatelets would be an advantage. Experience in using software like LabVIEW for data acquisition and analysis, and knowledge on smart materials with self-regulating heating capabilities, as well as a good knowledge of polymer physics, are desirable.

BENEFIT:
