FATE SCHOLAR PROGRAMME (FSP) FOR NIGERIAN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

LOCATION: Nigeria

The FATE Scholar Programme (FSP) is a FATE Giving initiative. The programme aims to support and enable innovative and entrepreneurial students seeking admission to pursue an undergraduate degree in any STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) course in any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria for the 2025-2026 academic year.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

A Nigerian Citizen.

An exceptional student

Must not be more than 21 years at the time of application.

Planning to study for an undergraduate degree in any STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Course in an accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

They will be required to provide proof of admission to access the programme’s benefits.

BENEFIT:

The FSP will support exceptional, high-performing, and future entrepreneurs with the following:

Financial aid

Mentoring and

Internship

Successful applicants will be supported for at least four years of their academic pursuit in any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

THE 2025 ITET GEM ESSAY COMPETITION

Application Deadline: 19th May, 11:59 PM (West African Time/Nigerian Time).

The ITET Gem Foundation is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of our Essay Competition for senior secondary school students in Nigeria. This year’s essay competition invites young Nigerians to propose a transformative policy to unlock youth potential and drive national progress.

The topic of this year’s ITET Gem essay competition is “A Youth-Focused Policy for Maximizing
Nigeria’s Potential.”

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible to submit an essay entry for the ITET Gem Essay Competition, you must be:

Be Nigerian and reside in Nigeria.

Be below 18 years of age at the time of submission.

Be reachable by phone (either their own or a guardian’s number). If a student does not have a phone, the alternate contact will be utilized.

Have access to an email account for submission.

Be a registered SS1, SS2, or SS3 students in a recognized secondary school are also eligible to apply.

Submit a 500-750 word essay on the topic “A Youth-Focused Policy for Maximizing Nigeria’s Potential.”

Email your essay to admin@itetgemfoundation.com on or before 19th May, 11:59 PM (West African Time/Nigerian Time).

Essay must be in Microsoft word format. Entries not in this format and submitted through other channels will not be accepted.

Second prize: N150,000.00
