ECTRIMS-MAGNIMS RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

ECTRIMS and MAGNIMS are pleased to announce its Research Fellowship program for the coming year.

This fellowship wants to foster the development of young researchers in the field of MS by supporting their work on scientific projects at renowned host institutions within the MAGNIMS network in Europe. The program shall achieve transfer and broadening of knowledge regarding the application of magnetic resonance to MS research and will promote the researcher’s integration into the international scientific community.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants should be under 40 years and affiliated to an academic department, which can guarantee a continuation of his or her research.

Applicant’s curriculum vitae

Applicants potential for scientific development including the capacity to carry out proposed research project

Quality of research project and its potential to serve the aims of the MAGNIMS network

Appropriateness of home and host institutions

Acceptance of the ECTRIMS-MAGNIMS payment rules including a certification from the host institution accepting the terms of the ECTRIMS fellowship and payments. BENEFIT:

ECTRIMS will support two MAGNIMS fellowships annually, with duration of 1 year, with an annual stipend of up to €55,000.

HOROWITZ FOUNDATION FOR SOCIAL POLICY

The Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy general purpose is to support the advancement of research and understanding in the major fields of the social sciences. Its specific purpose is to provide small grants to aspiring PhD students at the dissertation level to support the research they are undertaking for their project.

ELIGIBILITY:

Beginning in 2023 you CANNOT apply more than once. If you have applied before 2023 and want to apply again, you are still eligible. 

Applicants must be current PhD (or DrPH) candidates who are working on their dissertation;

Applicants must not have a PhD; those who do, are ineligible;

​Applicants must have defended their dissertation proposal or had their topic approved by their department;

​Applicants can be from any country and any university in the world. US citizenship or residency is not required.

BENEFIT:

Grants are based solely on merit. Each is worth a total of $10,000; $7,500 is awarded initially and $2,500 upon completion of the project.
