The fee waiver will not apply for periods of industrial placement or overseas exchange, resit years, or if you suspend your studies for any reason.

You must be starting a full-time undergraduate programme at the University of Leicester, UK campus commencing in September 2026 for year one, two, or three of your undergraduate programme for a maximum of three years.

All conditions of your offer must be met by 20 August 2026.

You must be classed as an international student for fee purposes.

No other university scholarships or discounts may be applied in addition to this fee waiver (unless explicitly stated).

If you are a sponsored student, you may still qualify for this fee waiver provided you meet all other eligibility criteria.

Excluding Medicine, LLB Maitrise, STEM International Foundation, ‘International Year 1’ courses, and for programmes that exceed three years in duration.

To be considered, you need to create a short video (no more than two minutes) that answers these three questions:

What do you want to achieve after university?

How will your chosen degree help you achieve this?

How will you contribute to the university community while you’re here?

Submit your video within the application form. Applications will go live on 18 November 2025.

Videos should be submitted as a link to Google Drive, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, WeChat Video, or Douyin in the section indicated in the application form.

BENEFIT:

A full tuition fee waiver will be awarded to 30 international fee-paying undergraduate students starting an undergraduate programme in September 2026.
