LOUGHBOROUGH UNIVERSITY VICE-CHANCELLOR INDEPENDENT RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

These prestigious, highly competitive 2-year Research Fellowships offer a rare opportunity for outstanding postdoctoral scholars to establish their own ambitious research agenda, develop their skills as independent researchers, and position themselves as future research leaders.

ELIGIBILITY:

Your PhD (or other doctoral qualification) must have been awarded between 2 December 2021 and 2 December 2024. This means any corrections following your viva examination must have been completed to the examiners’ satisfaction by the closing date for applications.

DLA PIPER GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAMME

LOCATION: United Kingdom

The DLA Piper Global Scholarship is a two-year programme for talented law students in less developed countries. The purpose of the Scholarship is to foster outstanding lawyers and leaders by providing practical learning and development opportunities which enhance their educational experience and in the future their ability to contribute to the rule of law in their home countries and beyond

ELIGIBILITY:

DLA Piper invites applications from undergraduate law students in the second to last year of their degree (their penultimate year); and postgraduate law students who want to pursue a two-year postgraduate qualification in a related field. Students must be studying in their home country and be from one of the countries listed below to be eligible for this programme.

Be studying law, and in your last to second last year of study in your home country, or

Have completed a Law degree and have been accepted to pursue a Master’s Degree in a related field in your home country.

Currently, be achieving, or be expected to achieve, a first-class degree, or be in the top 10% of your class, and

Receive a recommendation from your university

Be a citizen of the country you are applying from

Have a good level of spoken and written English as this will ensure you can fully participate in the programme
