KENT FUTURE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR NIGERIAN STUDENTS

Are you a Nigerian passport holder, or live in Nigeria, and are starting a full time taught undergraduate or postgraduate programme at one of our UK campuses in 2024? You could qualify for our new automatic Kent Future Student Scholarship, worth £5000. There is no application process. All eligible applicants who have paid their deposit by the stated deadlines will be contacted with a scholarship offer in due course, which they will need to accept.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to undergraduate and postgraduate taught applicants of full time UK programmes from OR domiciled in Nigeria, for September 2024 entry

Applicants must have paid their tuition fee deposit by 31 July 2024 for a £5000 discount*

You can hold the Kent Future Student Scholarship in addition to other awards and scholarships

This scholarship is for students beginning their degrees in September 2024 only, however advanced entry students starting their degree at Stage 2 or 3 are also eligible, as this will still be their first year of study at Kent.

BENEFIT:

If you receive an offer and pay your tuition fee deposit on or before 31 July 2024, you’ll get an automatic discount of £5,000 from your tuition fee, for one year of study.

ST JOHN’S COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE,THE SALIM AND UMEEDA NATHOO BURSARY

The Salim and Umeeda Nathoo Bursary has been set up to support Home, EU and International undergraduate students at St John’s College. The aim of the Bursary is to help outstanding students, who can demonstrate strong leadership skills, passion and potential, to meet the cost of living and learning at the College.

ELIGIBILITY:

Supports Home, EU and International undergraduate students at St John’s College.

The Nathoo bursary is open to all students, who have been offered a place at St John’s and whose family income is less than £80,000 per annum

The first shortlisting of offer holders is based on their academic records and their performance at the admissions interview in December.

The shortlisted candidates are then notified by the College and are invited to submit their application for the Nathoo bursary. 

The applications are reviewed and the strongest applicants are invited to attend an interview in London. The option of a Skype interview is offered to EU and International students.

BENEFIT:

An annual award of £11,000 will be awarded to one first-year undergraduate student for the duration of his/her studies, whether 3 or 4 years.
