Applicants can apply for an MBA scholarship after accepting an offer of a place on the Sussex MBA. Scholarship applications are assessed on applicants’ management experience and demonstration of impact.
Impact is intended as making a positive change in organizations (e.g., achieving exceptional business results, mentoring others, etc.) or broader social settings (e.g., helping marginalized communities, reducing impact on climate, etc.). We recognize that some applicants might not have made a full impact but have started and intend to use the MBA as a springboard to magnify their potential to achieve positive change.
Applications for the MBA Impact Scholarship for 2025/26 entry open in January 2025 and will be selected and allocated on a rolling basis starting in March 2025. As there are limited awards available, you are advised to apply as soon as possible, as all awards may be allocated before applications close for 2025 entry. You will be notified of the outcome of your application by email.
This scholarship is for applicants who are nationals of Nigeria, are classified as ‘Overseas’ for fee purposes, and have been accepted to study an eligible master’s course at Sussex.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
Be a national of Nigeria
Be classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes
Be taking up a place on an eligible full-time master’s degree, starting September 2025
Be self-financing
Students with an offer to study in the University of Sussex Business School will be able to combine this scholarship with the Business School International Masters Award (2025). Students with an offer to study in the School of Engineering & Informatics will be able to combine this scholarship with the Engineering & Informatics International Masters Award (2025).
The scholarship is applied automatically if you meet the eligibility criteria. If this changes at any time, the scholarship will be removed.
Confirmation of the scholarship will be sent by email after you receive an offer of a place to study at Sussex, and information about the scholarship will be included in your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) for your visa application.
