MBA DEVELOPING TALENT AND LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP (AFRICA) AT NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL

Newcastle University Business School will transform and support MBA candidates who can shape the future of an organization. Their Developing Talent and Leadership Scholarship will reward MBA candidates who are results-oriented, customer-focused, and can demonstrate leadership qualities and values.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria (MBA Partial Fee Scholarship Regulations – 2025 entry), be assessed as international for fee purposes, and be domiciled in one of the following countries: Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Haiti, Kenya, Libya, Malawi, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, South Sudan, Tunisia

You must also be able to:

Demonstrate (through application and at interview) substantive managerial experience and good leadership potential for the future

Hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for admission in September 2025 to the Full-time MBA programme

Have substantive managerial experience of 3 years or more

Hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honours degree (applicants who do not meet this requirement but can demonstrate relevant work experience above the minimum plus significant career progression may also be considered)

Perform well at interview across all competency areas

Hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0 (if your first language is not English).

How to apply: No application required. All candidates will be assessed at the point of interview for this Scholarship. The amount offered will be confirmed to candidates via email once they have received their course offer.

KEELE UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP (UG), SEPTEMBER 2025

The Undergraduate Global Scholarship is awarded to students who exceed the published entry requirements on entry.

ELIGIBILITY:

Enrolled undergraduate international students who exceed the published entry requirements (as per the prospectus for the year of entry) will automatically be awarded the scholarship as a tuition fee discount.

Only self-funding international students are eligible, and you must be confirmed as an overseas student for fee-paying purposes. The scholarship is not open to students who are in receipt of funding from external bodies such as local Government, charities, or private organizations.

The scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students who will be based at Keele University and start their studies in September 2025. The award cannot be used for any other year of entry.

One-year top-up degree courses are also eligible for the Scholarship, as long as all course- and applicant-related terms and conditions are met.

International students holding offers for selected undergraduate programmes will automatically be considered for the Keele Undergraduate Global Scholarship when we assess your application and receive official evidence of your entry qualifications. You do not need to submit a separate application for this scholarship. 

BENEFIT:

Year 1: Awards of £5,000 will be awarded towards the Year 1 (Level 4) tuition fee for students who exceed published entry requirements on entry.

Year 2: If a weighted average module mark of 60-69% is achieved from the modules studied in Year 1 (Level 4), then a payment of £1,000 will be awarded towards the Year 2 (Level 5) tuition fee. If a weighted average module mark of 70% or more is achieved from the modules studied in Year 1 (Level 4), then a payment of £2,000 will be awarded towards the Year 2 (Level 5) tuition fee.

Year 3: If a weighted average module mark of 60-69% is achieved from the modules studied in Year 2 (Level 5), then a payment of £1,000 will be awarded towards the Year 3 (Level 6) tuition fee. If a weighted average module mark of 70% or more is achieved from the modules studied in Year 2 (Level 5), then a payment of £2,000 will be awarded towards the Year 3 (Level 6) tuition fee.

Year 4 (if applicable): If a weighted average module mark of 60-69% is achieved from the modules studied in Year 3 (Level 6), then a payment of £1,000 will be awarded towards the Year 4 (Level 7) tuition fee. If a weighted average module mark of 70% or more is achieved from the modules studied in Year 3 (Level 6), then a payment of £2,000 will be awarded towards the Year 4 (Level 7) tuition fee.
