ZENDESK TECH FOR GOOD IMPACT AWARDS

The Zendesk Impact Awards are open to registered nonprofit organizations that would like to use Zendesk software to serve their beneficiary communities and help organizations scale their service response. Impact Award applications must be submitted by August 15, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Zendesk Impact Awards are open to verifiable charitable organizations including U.S. organizations classified as 501 (c)(3) public charities and foreign organizations operating for charitable purposes whose activities are in furtherance of the Foundation’s core focus areas of:

Fostering community

Promoting resilience in times of crisis

Creating career pathways in tech

Organizations must submit an application via the submission form that demonstrates how the applicant’s beneficiary communities will be impacted by Zendesk software and grant funds.#

You must submit proof of nonprofit status with your application in the “attachment” section of the application form. 

Current zendesk customers are not eligible for the impact awards.

Current and past zendesk grantees are not eligible for the impact awards.

Only applications submitted through the application form will be considered. Zendesk will not accept emailed applications.

At this time, zendesk is only accepting applications written in english. 

At this time, we are unable to grant to organizations based in: belarus, central african republic, crimea region of ukraine, congo, cuba, iran, iraq, lebanon, liberia, libya, north korea, somalia, syria, ukraine, russia, venezuela, yemen, and zimbabwe.

BENEFIT:

The Tech for Good Impact Awards will be providing free software and multiple grants ranging from $5,000 – $50,000 to global nonprofit organizations.

HALYCON EQUITYTECH FELLOWSHIP

Application Deadline: 31 May, 2024

LOCATION: USA

This fellowship empowers entrepreneurs across the United States and the globe leveraging technology to increase social and financial inclusion and close equity gaps in wealth, education, and accessibility.The EquityTech Fellowship is run with support from Capital One, Deloitte, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Arnold & Porter.

ELIGIBILITY:

They’re looking for (for-profit) EquityTech ventures based anywhere in the world.

Stage: Must have a Minimum Viable Product that has the potential to scale

Team:May apply with up to one co-founder

Applicant must be the CEO and/or hold primary decision-making power

Must be fluent in English

Must be at least 21 years of age by the start of the program

Program Engagement: Must be able to participate in all activities and programming sessions

Impact: Must be developing a product and venture which contributes towards one or more of the UN’s 17 SDGs

In addition to eligibility, Halcyon scores each application based on four criteria: Impact, Scalability, Innovation, and Talent.

BENEFIT:

Each program includes specific benefits to fellows. Fellows accepted into this program will receive the following:

A $10,000 USD per venture equity-free stipend to use toward travel expenses to attend the residencies

Eight week residency at Halcyon’s facilities in Georgetown, Washington, DC

Leadership

Pro bono legal support

Pro bono consulting services from Deloitte

Leadership coaching from certified coach

$10,000 USD in Amazon Cloud credits
