2026 TONY ELUMELU FOUNDATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME

Entrepreneurs from anywhere on the African continent—whether they are developing new concepts or already running ventures—are eligible to apply for the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme. The programme particularly welcomes startups that incorporate artificial intelligence or focus on environmentally sustainable solutions.

ELIGIBILITY:

Entrepreneurs from across all 54 African countries are eligible to apply.

Open to businesses that are between 0 and 5 years old at the time of application. Businesses older than 5 years are not eligible.

Being an African entrepreneur, having a business idea or existing business operating in Africa, being 18 years or older, and meeting specific program requirements.

Students can apply if they meet the prorgramme eligibility criteria and have a business idea or an existing business. However, you must provide valid identification documents as required by the application process.

SOUTHAMPTON BUSINESS SCHOOL (MBA) FUTURE LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: 27 February 2026, 5pm (UK time) for the first round

LOCATION: United Kingdom

Five scholarships are available to UK and international students studying Master of Business Administration (MBA). The scholarship will be awarded based on your application statement, your MBA application, and your interview.

ELIGIBILITY:

To get this scholarship you must:

have a conditional or unconditional offer to study Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southampton

show promise as a future leader by demonstrating business excellence

not be in receipt of any external scholarship

To apply, fill out the online form, submit a 500-word statement on why you should receive the scholarship, and interview with the scholarship panel

They will contact first-round applicants by 13 March 2026 to confirm the outcome of their scholarship application.

You will be assessed using the following criteria: 

a high degree of relevant professional experience in management and/or leadership  

evidence of rapid career progression

clear ability to contribute to the quality of the MBA cohort

strong academic ability and performance 

The decision of the scholarship panel is final.
