EHEALTH4EVERYONE PUBLIC HEALTH ENGAGEMENT AND ADVOCACY OFFICER

LOCATION: Nigeria

The Engagement and Advocacy officer will provide a critical interface between ehealth4everyone, government agencies/organizations and other project stakeholders. He/she will lead and support a broad range of internal/external stakeholder engagement and communication activities. He/she will also develop innovative communication and engagement initiatives requiring the involvement of a wide range of communication channels.

ELIGIBILITY:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working with stakeholders and clients and dealing with sensitive issues.

A Master’s degree in Public Health.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to impart and present information to stakeholders, formulate reports and gain cooperation.

A demonstrated ability to prepare and implement strategies in stakeholder relations and issue management are vital to the role.

RESPONSIBITY:

Providing active management support for a range of advocacy and/or advocacy-related projects.

Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and keeping contact records in our database updated regularly.

Supporting the delivery of high-quality events in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the country.

Daily monitoring of our activities and keeping the team informed of relevant developments and engagement opportunities.

Conducting research and supporting the drafting of briefings on key engagement areas.

Providing administrative support relating to our advocacy, including the coordination of mailings, scheduling meetings locally and taking minutes, including pictures of the activities.

Nanyang Scholarship recognizes students who excel academically, demonstrate strong leadership potential, and possess outstanding co-curricular records. Hence, it is important to be prepared at each stage of the application and interview process.

ELIGIBILITY:

Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme. The scholarship will cover the years of study^ at NTU.

Open to all nationalities.

Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.

Excellent co-curricular records.

Strong leadership qualities and potential.

^ For the Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine Programme, the scholarship will cover only the first three years of study in NTU.

BENEFIT:

Nanyang Scholarship covers up to the normal programme duration on condition that the scholarship holder maintain a record of good academic performance and exemplary conduct.

Full coverage of subsidised tuition fees (after Tuition Grant).

Living allowance of S$6,500 per academic year.

Accommodation allowance of up to S$2,000 per academic year.
(Applicable to scholarship holders who reside in NTU hostels only.)

Travel grant of up to S$5,000 for an overseas programme subject to terms and conditions in the Travel Grant Form.

Computer allowance of S$1,750 (one-off).

No bond is attached to the Nanyang Scholarship apart from the three-year bond applicable to all Singapore PRs and international students under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme.
