IFAD INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

LOCATION:  Italy

An internship at IFAD offers a unique learning experience to recent graduates or students specializing in areas relevant to our mission. That’s why IFAD offers six-month internship opportunities to recent university graduates or current students specializing in areas of work relevant to IFAD’s mission. Interns may pursue an additional six-month internship, accessing a different learning experience and broadening their exposure to IFAD’s areas of work.

ELIGIBILITY:

Be 30 years of age or younger.  

Be enrolled in an accredited university or graduate school, have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies and have attended courses in the last 24 months; or have completed university studies at an undergraduate or postgraduate level within the last 24 months. 

Be fluent in English. Knowledge of another IFAD official language (Arabic, French or Spanish) and/or any other language may be necessary, depending on the region of assignment. 

BENEFIT:

The internship programme provides a monthly allowance. Moreover, to further promote geographic diversity, IFAD offers a higher monthly allowance (contributing to housing and travel expenses) to interns from developing countries who need to travel to their duty station.

The Dorrit Hoffleit Undergraduate Astronomy Research Fellowship at Yale is open for application. Spend the Summer at Yale working as a Researcher in Astronomy

ELIGIBILITY:

Undergraduate science majors in Astronomy, Astrophysics, or Physics, who at the time of application are in their 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate study.

Students of any nationality.

Students with a strong desire to continue on to graduate school are particularly encouraged to apply.

BENEFIT:

In addition to a stipend of $450 per week (paid bi-weekly), students will be provided with housing within the historic Yale Residential Colleges as well as weekly, 15-meal vouchers to be used at the residential colleges. Up to $1000 in reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided.
