TÜRKIYE SCHOLARSHIPS: FIRST CLASS SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Turkey

Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded competitive scholarship program awarded to international students and researchers to pursue full-time degrees and research at the most prestigious universities in Türkiye.

ELIGIBILITY:

Minimum Academic Achievement:

For undergraduate candidates: 70%

For graduate candidates: 75%

For candidates of Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy): 90%

Age Criteria:

For undergraduate programs: being under the age of 21

For master’s programs: being under the age of 30

For PhD programs: being under the age of 35

For Research Scholarship: being under the age of 50

Eligible Groups:

Citizens of all countries

Graduates or those who will graduate at the end of the current academic year (before August 2024)

BENEFIT:

Türkiye Scholarships considers everything that international students will need during their academic studies while discovering Türkiye and acquiring new skills.

University and Department Placements

Provides university and department placements unlike other higher education scholarship programs.

Tuition Fee Coverage

Covers tuition fees.

Language Learning Support

Allows you to learn the language of the country study with a 1-year Turkish language course. This diversifies resources in academic research and enhances daily life.

Accommodation Assistance

Provides accommodation for students arriving in a new country

Travel Support

Supports you on your journey to Turkey and upon returning to your country after the education period, covering your once-off flight ticket.

Healthcare Benefits

Allows you to access widespread health services when necessary with health insurance.

Monthly Stipend

Also provides a monthly stipend: 3,500 TL at the undergraduate level, 5,000 TL at the Master’s level, and 6,500 TL at the PhD level per month

UEA DAVID SAINSBURY SCHOLARSHIPS IN GLOBAL PLANT HEALTH

The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL) offers the prestigious David Sainsbury Scholarships in Global Plant Health to a limited number of applicants on the MSc in Global Plant Health. To be considered for this scholarship, you need to apply for your place on the MSc in Global Plant Health. The deadline to apply for the course is 30 May 2025 (for international applicants) and 29 August 2025 (for UK applicants).

Criteria: Socioeconomic Related, UK Fees, and International Fees

School/Faculty: Faculty of Science and Biological Sciences

The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship:

You are eligible for a full scholarship under these terms if you meet all these criteria:

You are in receipt of an offer of a place on the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health

You are a national of or domiciled in a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country or territory as defined by the Overseas Development Agency Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list, version 2024-25 for entry in 2025-26 academic year.

There are a limited number of scholarships available and these will be awarded throughout the year, so you are advised to apply early.

The David Sainsbury 50% Fee Scholarship:

You are eligible for a full scholarship under these terms if you meet all these criteria:

You are in receipt of an offer of a place on the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health

You are not a national of or domiciled in a least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income country or territory as defined by the Overseas Development Agency Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list, version 2024-25 for entry in 2025-26 academic year. For example, you are a national of and domiciled in an upper-middle income country or higher income country (including the UK) according to this list.

There are a limited number of scholarships available and these will be awarded throughout the year, so you are advised to apply early.

BENEFIT:

The David Sainsbury Full MSc Scholarship: Each full scholarship will cover up to: the full cost of the tuition fee (£35,450 international fee for 2025-26)

maintenance grant (exact value at the UKRI postgraduate researcher stipend level to be determined for 2025-26; in 2024-23 it was £19,237)

an additional £4,000 for travel costs (subject to valid economy class travel receipts)

The David Sainsbury 50% Fee Scholarship: Each 50% fee scholarship will cover up to up to 50% of the full cost of the tuition fee (50% of either £17,975 UK or £35,450 international fees for 2025-26), minus any other awards or scholarships you are in possession of that cover more than 50% of the fee.
