The University of York regularly offers scholarships to students from a selection of countries in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to: Students from China, Greece, Indonesia, Malaysia (Justice and Law), Nigeria, Thailand and Vietnam
Qualification level: Postgraduate taught

have met any language condition of your offer by 16 May 2025
Have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a one-year postgraduate taught course at the University of York by 16 May 2025 (you don’t need to have accepted the offer).
You must apply for this scholarship online. As part of the application, you will need to provide answers to questions about your course of study and your goals for the future.
Open to all new international (excluding UK and RoI) entrants on the first year of a full-time undergraduate course delivered on one of their Northern Ireland campuses, commencing September each academic year.

You don’t need to apply for this award – all eligible students are awarded it automatically.
You must be classified as an international, self-funding student paying the international tuition fee rate to qualify for this award.
You must also hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate programme delivered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Coleraine or Derry~Londonderry), commencing in September and meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in your offer letter.
Students applying to our part-time or eLearning programmes, or to programmes delivered at our branch campuses (London, Birmingham or Manchester) are not eligible for this award.

£2,000 scholarship applied as discount to your annual tuition fee.
