Each year we have a number of International Excellence Scholarships available for students who have already demonstrated academic excellence or show potential to do so during their time at Swansea University.

Scholarships are awarded as a discount on tuition fees.  Full terms and conditions are available on the relevant application form.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be considered for a scholarship, 

You must be eligible for international fee status applying for International Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship

You must already hold an unconditional offer to study with Swansea University.

Applications for this scholarship will close on 29th August 2025.

BENEFIT:

Scholarships are awarded as a discount on tuition fees and worth up to £7,000*.  Full terms and conditions are available on the relevant application form.

*Up to £5,000 awarded in Year 1, and further £2,000 awarded in Year 2 subject to achieving a 70% average (for £5000 awardees only).

UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE SCIENCE: GLASGOW 850 INTERNATIONAL MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS, SEPTEMBER 2025

To celebrate the 850th anniversary of the city of Glasgow, we are delighted to offer scholarships to all eligible postgraduate taught, self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students, joining an on-campus course in the Faculty of Science in September 2025. This scholarship will be awarded automatically and no application is necessary.

ELIGIBILITY:

The scholarships are available for eligible self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course with the University of Strathclyde’s campus in Glasgow, starting September 2025 only.

The scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points. 

Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible for these scholarships.

Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.

Students who do not meet the required criteria will automatically not be considered.

The Faculty of Science’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Appeals will not be considered.

Scholarships will be awarded automatically to eligible offer holders.

No further scholarship application is necessary.

BENEFIT:

The value of the Science: Glasgow 850 International Masters Scholarships, September 2025 is £5,000 and will be deducted from your tuition fees.
