ELIGIBILITY:

Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program within the past two years.
Degrees & certifications required for the job should be listed here, listing ‘B.S. or equivalent work experience’ in this section is acceptable if an actual degree is not required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Social Science or related fields with a minimum of Second Class Upper
List specific, job-critical work knowledge:

 Strong communication skills (written and oral)

 Good analytical and coordination skills.

 Sound administration abilities.

 Good interpersonal skills.

 Innovative and seeks continuous improvement

 Proficiency in computer and MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of facilities management is preferred, a certification in Facilities Management is an added advantage

The Outstanding International Student (OIS) Award is a one-time, merit-based entrance scholarship awarded to qualified students when they are offered admission to UBC. Students selected for this award show strength academically and display involvement outside of the classroom.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be considered for an OIS Award, you must:

Be new to UBC, entering directly from secondary school or post-secondary (university or college).

Be an international student studying at UBC on a Canadian study permit (student visa). (Changes to your citizenship status will affect your scholarship eligibility.)

Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and strong extracurricular involvement.

Not be nominated for a need-and-merit-based International Scholars award.

Apply to UBC by the admissions deadline.

BENEFIT:

For the 2025/2026 academic year, OIS awards will be valued at $10,000 – $25,000.
