STANFORD GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW (DUAL)

The Initiative for Financial Decision-Making (IFDM) at the Stanford Graduate School of Business invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships under the supervision of Professor Annamaria Lusardi, the Initiative’s faculty director.

The in-person fellowship begins as soon as possible and no later than July 1, 2026; runs for one year; and may be renewed, assuming performance at or above expectations; a two-year term is strongly preferred.

ELIGIBILITY:

Doctoral degree conferred before appointment start date.

A PhD in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline is required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching at a college or graduate-level setting.

For full consideration, please submit application materials as soon as possible and no later than December 15, 2025. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. International applicants may be sponsored for J1 visas. Fellows eligible for OPT are encouraged to use it during the fellowship.

The University of Kent is offering GREAT scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year. Scholarships are available for students from Ghana, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, and Türkiye.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:

Be a Ghanaian, Indian, Kenyan, Malaysian, Nigerian, Thai or Turkish passport holder and live in Ghana, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand or Türkiye, and be assessed as an overseas fee payer;

Have received a conditional offer for a one year full time course at one of our UK campuses and have accepted this before the deadline date of 24 April 2026;

Have submitted an expression of interest for the GREAT scholarship (please see below for full details)

Be starting your course in September 2026;

Be active in the field with work experience or proven interest in the subject area;

Be willing to embody the UK Higher Education experience, by attending lectures and tutorials and engaging with extra-curricular activities, and act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by promoting the value of studying at a UK HEI;

Be willing to establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfilment;

Represent the high standards of the GREAT brand by becoming an advocate for scholarships; and

Be willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars, to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK.

BENEFIT:

The GREAT Scholarships programme is funded jointly by the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign, British Council and the University of Kent, as part of the Study UK campaign and it offers scholarships of £10,000
