Khalifa University provides competitive, merit-based scholarship programs to attract and support outstanding graduate students demonstrating academic excellence, innovation, and leadership. These scholarships enable talented individuals from the UAE and around the world to contribute to advanced research and address global challenges in science, engineering, computing, and health while advancing the university’s mission in research, innovation, and community engagement.

ELIGIBILITY:

Graduate students from the UAE and around the world are eligible to apply

Awards are based on academic achievement, research potential, field of study, and alignment with the University’s strategic priorities. Recipients are expected to maintain strong academic standing, with continued eligibility subject to CGPA and program progression requirements.

Master’s Scholarships: Khalifa University offers scholarships to eligible master’s students. To be considered, applicants should indicate their interest in scholarship support when submitting their admission application. 

PhD Scholarships: Khalifa University offers highly competitive, merit-based PhD scholarships to outstanding students. Applicants should indicate their interest in scholarship consideration when submitting their admission application.

UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON-CLEAR LAKE PRESIDENT’S EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

The University of Houston-Clear Lake is delighted to offer the President’s Excellence Scholarship for academically exceptional students wishing to apply for an undergraduate program at the university.

ELIGIBILITY:

Be graduating from high school in the 2026-2027 academic year.

Demonstrate high academic merit with a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale).

Submit a letter of recommendation characterizing your academic potential.

Be willing to participate in key institutional networking events.

Enroll in at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester.

To renew your scholarship for an additional three years, students must do the following:

Maintain a 3.5 cumulative UHCL GPA.

Be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester at census date.

Complete at least 12 credit hours successfully each fall and spring semester at UHCL to receive a renewal.

Maintain consecutive enrollment.

As part of the application process, you will be required to submit a letter of recommendation (either in PDF, DOC, or DOCX format) characterizing your academic potential. Before you begin, you should have all materials ready and available to upload. Once you submit the application, you will NOT be able to return to your application to attach additional documentation.

Students will be reviewed each semester for eligibility based on the above criteria.

If the recipient graduates with a bachelor’s degree before using all eligible semesters of the scholarship, the remainder of the scholarship will be forfeited.

Scholarships are competitive. Not everyone who applies will receive a scholarship.

BENEFIT:

The award amount is $3,000 ($1,500 for Fall 2027 and $1,500 for Spring 2028).
