WIGWE UNIVERSITY MERIT-BASED UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Nigeria

The merit-based scholarship is available to students enrolling at Wigwe university in 2025.

This scholarship is aimed at supporting prospective students who have displayed exceptional academic achievements, leadership and entrepreneurship capabilities, and a zest for continuous learning.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates must have chosen Wigwe University Isiokpo as their first choice and must score a minimum of 150 in the UTME.

Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results are uploaded to JAMB.

Candidates whose O’Level results are being awaited are advised to upload them to JAMB as soon as the results are released.

Candidates who fail to upload their Results to JAMB will not be considered.

Candidates who did not choose Wigwe University as their first-choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB Website and effect a change of their institution of first choice to Wigwe University before the close of the Change of Institution application process on the JAMB Portal.

The purpose of the Award is to support a high-achieving student undertaking an honors project in Systems or open source at the School of Computer Science & Engineering.

ELIGIBILITY:

Be commencing a full-time Honours year in Systems at UNSW Engineering in a:

Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours)

Bachelor of Advanced Computer Science (Honours)

BE in Computer Engineering (Honours)

BE in Software Engineering (Honours)

BE in Bioinformatics (Honours)

Have achieved an overall WAM of Distinction/75 or higher

High Distinction average in systems courses

Thesis in the area of Operating Systems

Academic Merit

Aptitude & Commitment to Systems

Thesis on the design, implementation, evaluation or verification of operating systems
