UNU-MERIT MIGRATION MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA PROGRAMME (MMDP)

LOCATION: The Netherland

This program is designed for government officials and policymakers working in migration and asylum.  This full-time, three-month program uses various teaching and evaluation methods, including lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on practical exercises, with a special focus on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method.

ELIGIBILITY:

Eligible applicants for participation in the MMDP programme must fulfil the following criteria:

Fluency in spoken and written English

Hold a minimum Bachelor’s university degree

Applicants must be confident in computer skills to follow an education programme

Work as government officials in the field of migration and/or asylum in one of the eligible countries (see Scholarships section for list of countries)

BENEFIT:

Scholarships for the MMDP are available for government officials and policy practitioners who work in the field of migration and/or asylum in specific eligible countries. Scholarships funded by the European Union through the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF) of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), are available to applicants from eligible countries in the following regions: EU Southern Neighbourhood, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia and Silk Route countries.

DALARNA UNIVERSITY MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

LOCATION: Sweden

Every year, Dalarna University awards partial scholarships to a number of its new international, fee-paying Master’s students who have proven themselves to be outstanding in their educational endeavours.

ELIGIBILITY:

Priority will be given to applicants who list Dalarna University as their first choice on universityadmissions.se and who are admitted in the first application round. If you are awarded a scholarship, you must complete at least 20 credits in your program of study each semester in order to continue to be eligible for the scholarship.

Note that there is no age limit for applicants to our partial scholarships and that they are open to fee-paying students only.

A complete scholarship application has three parts:

The online scholarship application (the application link is only active during the application period).

A CV/résumé (uploaded to your University Admissions account)

A video where you explain why you should receive a scholarship

BENEFIT:

Tuition fee waivers are only available for studying a Master’s degree program, which is offered on-campus. You only need to apply once for your scholarship, and you do this before the start of your programme.
