Stanford’s Center on Food Security and the Environment (FSE) seeks applicants to our postdoctoral fellowship for Fall 2025. The fellowship is awarded to promising young scholars with a demonstrated ability to do innovative and rigorous work related to global hunger, poverty alleviation, and environmental degradation.

Successful candidates are expected to lead projects of their own design, while also interacting with other faculty and students at FSE.
They encourage candidates from both the social and natural sciences to apply.
Successful applications will clearly identify how the proposed work relates to FSE priority areas.
At TU Delft a number of scholarships are available for excellent international applicants. Justus & Louise Van Effen Excellence Scholarships are financed by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr. van Effen studied at TU Delft in the 1940’s and strongly believed technological developments will contribute to solving societal issues.
ELIGIBILITY:
You are an excellent international applicant (conditionally) admitted to one of the 2-year regular TU Delft MSc programmes (not a Joint Education Programme).
Students must have achieved excellent academic results in their previous study programme(s), which must be relevant to the Master’s programme for which they are applying. As an indication, the student is amongst the top 10% of graduates in his/her previous study programme. Note that proof of ranking is not required – this information is purely to indicate the level of competitiveness.
You have submitted a complete MSc application before the scholarship deadline.
Students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft via email by the end of March 2025.
Receiving the scholarship is conditional on the student fulfilling all admission criteria.
BENEFIT:
Full tuition fees per year for a TU Delft MSc programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate, according to the registered nationality, AND contribution for the living expenses.
