UNSW NUCLEAR ENGINEERING UNDERGRADUATE AWARD

The purpose of the award is to encourage UNSW undergraduate students to pursue studies in Nuclear Engineering Honours year. The Scholarships Office encourages applicants to submit their applications in advance of the closing time where possible.

ELIGIBILITY:

The recipient must be undertaking full-time undergraduate study in one of the following:

Nuclear Engineering (Minor) (ENGGF23707); or Enrolled in the AtomCraft VIP course (one of following: ENGG2600, ENGG3600, ENGG4600)

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

Academic Merit

High performing scores within Nuclear Engineering (Minor) or AtomCraft VIP Course with a minimum overall WAM of 80

Aptitude and commitment to studying Nuclear Engineering

You must provide evidence supporting the above criteria in your online application. Please refer to the Scholarship Application Supporting Documents for a detailed list of examples.

TRANSFORM TOGETHER SCHOLARSHIPS AT SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY

Sheffield Hallam University values high-achieving international students. The Transform Together Scholarships are meant for eligible and academically exceptional students to start a full-time taught course. They award these scholarships based on a demonstration of your excellent academic achievement and your potential to represent the university as an ambassador. Apply now for September 2026.

ELIGIBILITY:

You can apply for a Transform Together Scholarship if you:

Have been offered a place on a full-time postgraduate taught course at Sheffield Hallam University starting in September 2026.

Are an international fee-paying student.

Are fully self-financing your studies. This means that you are not receiving any funding for your studies from an external source such as a government, a scholarship provider, a company, or an employer. 

You are classed as self-funded if a family member or friend funds your studies.

Are able to pay the remainder of your tuition fee and any additional fees your course may require, for example, for field trips?

Must meet the English and academic requirements for your course.

If you are applying at the postgraduate level, you also need to:

Have at least a 2.1 or equivalent in your undergraduate degree.

Be entering postgraduate study for the first time, have not been awarded a postgraduate qualification either in the UK or overseas in the past. Transform Together postgraduate scholarships are strictly for students progressing from undergraduate to postgraduate study. 

BENEFIT:

A half fee waiver (50% discount) is available for full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses.

Undergraduate scholarships apply to the first year of study only.

Transform Together scholarships

are applied as a tuition fee reduction

cannot be transferred or deferred to a later start date.

Remember, you can only receive one scholarship or award for each course of study.
