UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL THINK BIG INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Think Big is the University of Bristol’s flagship scholarship scheme. The Think Big international scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students could help you fund your UK study at the University of Bristol. They’ve invested up to £5 million in Think Big scholarships to help international students come to Bristol in 2026.

ELIGIBILITY:

These scholarships are for applicants with overseas fee status who have applied for an eligible undergraduate or master’s course.

The Think Big Scholarship scheme has partnered with faculties, alumni and external partners to offer a wide range of scholarships in addition to the central Think Big undergraduate and postgraduate awards.

To make the application process easier, you only need to submit one scholarship application form. Your application will be matched with your University study application and then you will be considered for every scholarship where you meet the necessary eligibility requirements.

BENEFIT:

Think Big undergraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500 and £13,000 for up to four years of study.

Think Big postgraduate scholarships are valued at £6,500, £13,000, and £26,000 for your first year of study.

Postgraduate applicants will also be eligible for the Think Big Career Accelerator. This employability-focused yearlong program is designed to boost your confidence in advancing your career after graduation and comes with a £3,000 scholarship.

XIAMEN UNIVERSITY NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2026

Application Deadline: April 10, 2026.

Xiamen University set up its own scholarships for international students studying in degree programs. Scholarship awardees will have their tuition fees covered. Moreover, monthly living allowances will be provided to outstanding postgraduates in accordance with the standards of Chinese Government Scholarships.

ELIGIBILITY:

Bachelor’s Degree Requirements:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens aged between 18 and 30 by September 1st, 2026, be mentally and physically healthy, and possess a valid regular passport.

Applicants should be a graduating senior high school student or hold a senior high school diploma with a satisfactory academic record.

Master’s Requirements:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens generally under the age of 45 (as of September 1, 2026), be mentally and physically healthy, and possess a valid regular passport.

Applicants should be a graduating student of an undergraduate’s program or hold a Bachelor’s Degree or above.

Doctoral Requirements:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens generally under the age of 50 (as of September 1, 2026), be mentally and physically healthy, and possess a valid regular passport.

Applicants should be a graduating student of a master’s program or hold a Master’s Degree or above.

General Requirements:

Applicants should be a graduating senior high school student or hold a senior high school diploma with a satisfactory academic record.

Programs in Humanities, Economics, Management, Law, Arts: HSK 5 with a score of 210 or better (Applicants for the major in Chinese Language, please refer to the website of Overseas Education College directly for the HSK requirements.)

Programs in Sciences, Engineering, Medicine, and Physical Education: HSK 4 with a score of 210 or better

TOEFL iBT Certificate: an overall minimum score of 80 (XMU’s DI Code for TOEFL is C310

OR an IELTS Academic Certificate: an overall minimum score of 6.0

OR the English-as-medium-of-instruction Certificate from the high school where English is the primary language of instruction.

OR other equivalent English proficiency certificates recognized by XMU

Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempt from this requirement.

BENEFIT:

The Xiamen University International Students Scholarship is offered in first and second class categories;

Bachelor’s: Tuition fees only

Master’s:

First Class: Tuition fees only

Second Class: Tuition fees plus ¥3,000 monthly stipend

PhD:

First Class: Tuition fees only 

Second Class: Tuition fees plus ¥3,000 monthly stipend
