LEIDEN UNIVERSITY KUIPER-OVERPELT STUDY FUND

The Kuiper-Overpelt Study Fund is a scholarship programme for talented students from developing countries who wish to follow the Master of Laws Advanced Studies programme in International Children’s Rights and meet all criteria for admission.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: 

be highly motivated to follow the Master of Laws Advanced Studies programme in International Children’s Rights.

Students who wish to follow and meet the admission criteria for the Master of Laws: Advanced Studies programme in International Children’s Rights.

be a national of a country with a medium (113-151) or low (152-189) ranking on the HDI Index—see the UNDP website.

lack the financial means to follow the study programme without the assistance of a scholarship.

The applicant must have the firm intention of returning to their home country after graduation and putting into practice the knowledge obtained during the programme, in order to improve the implementation of international children’s rights in their home country. The applicant must be willing to sign a letter of intent to this effect.

Submit an online application for admission to the Master of Laws: Advanced Studies in International Children’s Rights and pay the application fee of € 100. Don’t forget to upload a valid English test result in your application. 

BENEFIT:

The scholarship amounts to €20,000, which covers most of the tuition fee of €22,300. The duration of the scholarship is one year.

CAMBRIDGE AFRICA CHANGEMAKERS SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: United Kingdom

The Cambridge Africa Changemakers Scholarship aims to provide support to talented students who require financial assistance to take up their places at the University, whose research contributes to the development of the continent and to climate-resilient and sustainable futures for Africa and the world.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Cambridge Africa Changemakers Scholarship is a programme of full-cost scholarships for PhD students in any subject, excluding premium rate courses, open to applicants from any country in Africa. It is tenable at any College within the University of Cambridge.

Research area must contribute to the development of the African continent and to climate-resilient and sustainable futures for Africa and the world

This scholarship is not available for the Doctor of Business course

No separate application is required for this scholarship, only the application for admission to the University of Cambridge, which must be submitted by the funding deadline specific to your course (please refer to the Postgraduate Course Directory)
