FULLY FUNDED UNDERGRADUATE ELLISON SCHOLARS PROJECTS  AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD

The innovation projects aim to solve global problems through technology and are at the centre of gravity for both EIT and the Ellison Scholars programme. The programme is looking to find outstandingly talented people who have the skills and abilities to contribute significantly to specific projects within our humane endeavours. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants will need to meet the University of Oxford’s entry requirements for their chosen course. Applicants must:

Have met, or be on track to meet, the University’s English Language requirements for their chosen undergraduate degree

Have, or be on track to have, a secondary education/high school leaving qualification, diploma or certificate accepted by the University of Oxford (*see note below)

Have met, or be on track to meet, the entry requirements for their chosen undergraduate degree (including minimum grade requirements)

Applicants must also meet our selection criteria before starting an application.

JAMES COOK UNIVERSITY AUSTRALIA HDR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES

The James Cook University, Australia invites interested and eligible international candidates to apply for 2025 HDR scholarships for International Candidates. New International Candidates: Indicate that you would like be considered for a HDR scholarship in the candidature application. A separate application is not required. Apply here.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for postgraduate research scholarship at JCU, an applicant must meet each of the following requirements:

You must be an International Students (excluding  JCUS based)

Be undertaking a Masters by Research or Research Doctoral degree whilst in receipt of a scholarship;

Be enrolled as a full-time internal student upon commencement of the Scholarship, or in exceptional circumstances, be granted approval by the University for a part-time and/or external Scholarship;

Have their enrolment into the proposed research degree program accepted by the University before being ranked for an offer of a Scholarship. This means that if you are currently located offshore or interstate from your preferred JCU campus:

Your project must be able to be commenced, and potentially completed from your current location due to unpredictability of travel bans;

Your advisory panel have indicated agreement to supervise the project remotely

You have a fully activated Australian bank account (requires applicant to have presented in person in an Australian bank branch)

Are not receiving another equivalent Scholarship or salary to undertake the proposed program (where “equivalent” may mean more than seventy-five per cent of the base stipend).

You must be able to meet the conditions of your offer for candidature.

You must be able to meet the requirements of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection if you are not an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian Permanent Resident.

BENEFIT:

International Research Training Scholarship: Living allowance stipend $33,500pa, overseas health cover, tuition fees.

Post Graduate Reserach Scholarship: Living allowance stipend $33,500pa, tuition fees.

AIMS @ JCU Scholarship: Living allowance stipend $33,500pa + $5,000pa as living allowance stipend or project expenses, tuition fees.
