POSTGRADUATE AND PHD PROGRAMS OF BEIJING INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Applications are open for postgraduate programs at Beijing Institute of Technology for interested and qualified international students with the intention to expand their career in China.

ELIGIBILITY:

Be a non-Chinese citizens and in good health both mentally and physically, and will observe Chinese laws and the regulations and the rules and regulations of Beijing Institute of Techonoly

Be academically excellent holder of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 35

Be academically excellent holder of a master’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 40

Hold an HSK certificate (minimum of level 5) for Chinese-taught programs; have a minimum score of 85 in TOEFL or 6.0 overall band in IELTS for English-taught programs (English native speakers are exempted). Or provide other language certificates recognized by BIT

Have at least 1-year related working or internship experience for MBA programs

BENEFIT:

Full scholarship covers:

Tuition fees;

Free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy;

Stipend:

Master’s student: CNY 3,000 /month;

Doctoral students: CNY 3,500/month

Comprehensive medical insurance: CNY 800/person/year

JSPS-UNU POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

Applications for the JSPS-UNU Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme 2024 are now open. UNU offers Postdoctoral Fellowships to provide young scholars and policymakers, especially from the developing world, with a multidisciplinary context within which to pursue advanced research and training that are of professional interest to the successful applicant and of direct relevance to the research agenda of their selected thematic programme. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree at the time of application (received on or after 2 April 2018 with the period of maternity/paternity leave subtracted, counting 4 weeks as a month) or be scheduled to receive a doctoral degree before the fellowship begins. Applicants must be citizens of countries that have diplomatic relations with Japan (Palestinian and Taiwanese researchers are eligible to apply).

Those who have previously been awarded a Standard or Pathway Fellowship under the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan are also not eligible.

BENEFIT:

Airfare: a round-trip air ticket (based on JSPS regulations)

Maintenance allowance: JPY 362,000 per month

Miscellaneous: a settling-in allowance of JPY 200,000 and overseas travel insurance

A research grant (Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research) is available to cover cooperative research-related expenses. Application for these grants is made by the host researcher through the host institution.
