CAMBRIDGE TRUST POSTGRADUATE  SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Cambridge Trust is a major source of funding to students at the University of Cambridge and offers a number of scholarships for postgraduate applicants.

ELIGIBILITY:

The eligibility requirements for most postgraduate Cambridge scholarships are:

significant academic achievement and potential

financial need (although some scholarship programmes are based on academic merit alone)

Degree level:

Applicants must be intending to start a course at the level of:

Masters (such as MPhil, MASt, LLM but with some restrictions – see Important information section below)

Research postgraduate (such as PhD)

Nationality:

All students, irrespective of nationality, are eligible for postgraduate awards.

Subject:

Applicants may study any subject currently available at the University of Cambridge. Please visit the postgraduate course directory for further information.

Application and admission:

Postgraduate scholarships are available only for study at the University of Cambridge, and require that you apply to the University for admission by the relevant funding deadline (please visit Applying for postgraduate funding for full details), and have a conditional offer of admission.

RUTH TITILAYO POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP 2025

Application Deadline: 31st October 2024

LOCATION: Nigeria

Ruth Titilayo postgraduate scholarship is specifically designed to pay for tuition fees, and help with living costs. The grant may cover all your expenses or just make a small but useful contribution.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must:

hold an undergraduate degree with 2:1 or higher.

hold a degree from a Nigerian institution (this may be either the undergraduate degree or a further degree held by the applicant).

either be a student at the time of application or have been registered as a student within the last five years.

be obtaining a Masters degree (or equivalent postgraduate qualification), as well as carrying out professional research or work experience. These are not necessary requirements but will enhance your application.
*Final year undergraduates are NOT eligible for the Ruth Titilayo Foundation Postgraduate grant.

BENEFIT:

The grant consists of:

Tuition allowance up to #100,000
Maintenance allowance up to #20,000
Further allowances – for example internal travel costs associated with the course of study or research and fieldwork expenses – are paid at the discretion of the Committee.
