UNIVERSITY OF GRONINGEN NL POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: The Netherlands

The NL Scholarship is a one-time grant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in the Netherlands. The scholarship, co-funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the University of Groningen, is intended to help cover living expenses during the first year of study and aims to give excellent students the opportunity to study at the University of Groningen.

ELIGIBILITY:

To qualify for the NL Scholarship University of Groningen:

You do not hold the nationality of one of the EEA countries and are not eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fee for any other reason.

You are enrolled at the University of Groningen as a full-time student for the academic year and Master’s programme for which the scholarship is awarded.

You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor’s degree outside the Netherlands. You have not obtained any diplomas in the Netherlands, and have not received any previous education in the Netherlands (exchange programmes are excluded).

You have demonstrated excellent academic performance during your Bachelor’s (undergraduate) studies.

You have a letter from the University of Groningen with an admission offer for one of the programmes mentioned in this list.

You are eligible to meet the requirements for obtaining a Dutch student visa.

You have not obtained the NL Scholarship before.

BENEFIT:

A scholarship of €5,000 to contribute to your living costs in the Netherlands. You will receive this in the first year of your studies.

UNIVERSITY OF WARWICK—GREAT SCHOLARSHIPS 2026

Warwick is partnering with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign to reduce the financial barriers to overseas higher education. The Warwick-GREAT Scholarships 2026 offer financial support to high-achieving, high-potential candidates who are committed to capacity building and driving innovation and socio-economic advancement in their country.

ELIGIBILITY:

Be a national of and be a resident in one of the following countries: France, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, Nigeria or Turkey

Have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on an eligible taught master’s programme for 2026 entry

Be able to enroll in September 2026. GREAT scholarships cannot be deferred

Must be able to fund the remainder of the tuition fees via personal funds or a partial scholarship awarded by a third party.

BENEFIT:

Each scholarship is worth £15,000 and will be awarded as a tuition fee discount.
