LINCOLN UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE VICE-CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP

​The scholarship was established to support and reward international students of the highest academic ability in further study at Lincoln University.

ELIGIBILITY:

Available to International Students

Must be a new to Lincoln University International Student who is planning to enroll in a Bachelor’s degree.

Must not be in receipt of any other scholarship and should meet all Lincoln University entrance requirements for any Lincoln University Bachelor degree program.

UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN’S AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP FOR JANUARY 2026 ENTRY

LOCATION: United Kingdom

The University of Lincoln’s Africa Scholarship is designed to help students from across Africa to access postgraduate-level study at the University of Lincoln. The Africa Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught program commencing in the 2026 academic year.

ELIGIBILITY:

In order to be eligible to receive the Africa Scholarship, prospective students must meet the following criteria:

Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Africa (excluding Egypt). Please visit their Egypt Scholarship webpage for details regarding scholarship eligibility for students who are nationals of or have permanent residence in Egypt.

Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught program commencing in January 2026.

A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University

A £4,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University

Please visit your country webpage for more detail regarding regional entry requirements that are equivalent to a 2:1 or 2:2.

Students joining a Pre-Master’s program will be entitled to receive the scholarship when they move onto their main program. 

If you’re eligible to receive the Africa Scholarship, you may also be eligible to receive a tuition fee discount of £1,000 – £1,500 through their Advance Full Payment Discount or Early Payment Discount. To find out more information about eligibility criteria, please visit our webpage.

BENEFIT:

The Africa Scholarship is valued at £4,000 – £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies.
