DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY NOVA SCOTIA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP – MASTER’S

The Nova Scotia Graduate Scholarship program provides over $3 million per year in funding to research graduates at Dalhousie for innovative work aligned with or advancing Nova Scotia priorities. The objectives of this award are to attract and retain top-quality research graduates, as well as to encourage exploration, discovery, and innovation in research priority areas for Nova Scotia.

ELIGIBILITY:

Scholarship type: Entrance
Degree level: Thesis-based master’s
Available to: Canadian or international students

You must not be currently enrolled in a thesis-based master’s program (i.e. you have yet to begin your program).

Your intended research aligns with one or more of the research priorities as identified by the province of Nova Scotia. See above for guidelines of priority research areas. 

Applications are submitted through the Harmonized Scholarship Process. Your department will review your application and nominate you for an award if you meet the appropriate criteria.

Value: $10,000 per year for up to two years

KU LEUVEN FACULTY OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE FEE WAIVER

Application Deadline: 1 March, 2025

LOCATION: Belgium

A limited number of tuition fee waivers will be granted to excellent candidates, based on their application file. Every non-EEA student will be automatically considered for a waiver basen on the academic results, so you do not need to apply for a waiver yourself.

ELIGIBILITY:

Degree type: Master’s degree

Eligible programme(s): All initial master’s programmes taught in English

Eligible Nationalities: Africa, Asia, North America, Central America, South America, Oceania and Europe

The scholarship is available to all non-EEA students.

Candidates must be a of a nationality included in the list of eligible countries above. 

Every non-EEA student will be automatically considered for a waiver based on their academic results. The selection will run simultaneously with the evaluation of your application for one of our master’s programmes. If upon receiving your Admission Letter you did not receive any news on a reduced tuition fee applying to you, then you were not selected for a waiver.

Applicants will be informed simultaneously with their application request about their request for a waiver

BENEFIT:

In the academic year 2024-2025, the tuition fee is reduced to 1425,7 EUR per year.  An updated amount for the academic year 2025-2026 will be published by the end of November 2024.

Available fee waivers: max. 10 waivers per initial master’s program
