NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY VICE-CHANCELLOR’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS (UNDERGRADUATE) (2026)

Application Deadline: Awards will be allocated throughout the academic year before the start of the student’s degree.

Newcastle University is pleased to offer partial Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships to assist international students to study for an undergraduate degree.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be considered for awards, applicants must:

Be domiciled in one of the following countries/regions: Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey*, UAE, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, or Zimbabwe.

Have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year

Be assessed as international for fee purposes

NB Applicants domiciled in Turkey can only be considered if they are self-funding their studies. 

Scholarships will be awarded automatically to eligible students.

Eligible candidates will automatically be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship as part of their academic course application.

BENEFIT:

Value of award: The value of the tuition fee award is £7,000 per academic year

Start date and duration: September 2026 for the duration of your course.

UNIVERSITY OF READING CLIMATE STRIPES SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: 31 March 2026.

LOCATION: United Kingdom

This is an exciting scholarship for 2026 that was made possible thanks to the generosity of donors who share the University of Reading’s passion for Climate Science and improving climate education.

ELIGIBILITY:

The award is available to International students who hold an offer for one of the listed courses.

MSc Climate Change and Artificial Intelligence

MSc Applied Meteorology and Climate

MSc Atmosphere, Ocean and Climate

The application form, along with the Terms and Conditions, will be available on me@reading applicant portal. The deadline for applications is 31 March 2026.

For scholarships that do require you to submit an application, typically you will need to have an offer on your chosen course before you are able to apply for the scholarship. Once you have an offer on a course, please apply for the scholarships via me@reading applicant portal. The scholarship application form will be accessible up until the closing date.

BENEFIT:

The award provides two awards of £10,000 (this is split with £5,000 as a tuition fee discount and £5,000 as a grant towards living expenses)
