INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY WITH THE PARTNERSHIPS, POLICY AND COMMUNICATIONS UNIT (UNCDF)

UNCDF is seeking an intern to be part of the Partnerships, Policy and Communications Unit (PPC) in its Headquarters located in New York, United States. Working under the guidance and supervision of the Head of PPC, and working closely with PPC staff, the intern will support the ongoing workplan and goals of the unit, including but not limited to expanding partnerships; preparing policy briefs for high level meetings; supporting the launch of major initiatives on blended finance and enterprises in Africa; and building and maintaining a base of knowledge about Member States.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidate must be enrolled in a degree programme in Business Administration, Economic Development, Economics, Finance,  or another related field.

Applicants to the UNCDF internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:

Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);

Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent);

Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.

Fluency in English required. Fluency in French desirable;

Knowledge of other UN languages will be considered a plus.

The maximum internship duration is 6 months.

BENEFIT:

Interns are partially financially remunerated by UNCDF. The costs associated with the assignment will be partially supported by UNCDF

THE AGCO AGRICULTURE FOUNDATION GRANTS

The AGCO Agriculture Foundation (“The Foundation”) through its grant application platform, Benevity, is seeking proposals from non-profit organizations and public universities/educational institutions around the world. The focus of CAG is on our “Pillar two: Agricultural Education and Innovation.”

ELIGIBILITY:

This Call for Grant Applications (CAG) is an open call to non-profits and public universities/educational institutions with innovative solutions targeted at increasing the capacity of farmers, farming communities, young people and/or women, and facilitates access to the tools, training, activities, and support they need to continuously improve their practices, build resiliency and improve their profitability and contribute to a food-secure world.

BENEFIT:

Budget range: $200,000 – $450,000 USD

Project period: 2-3 years
