Dr. Corie Charpentier has openings in the Coastal S.E.E. Lab for a Master’s and Ph.D. student in Marine Science, beginning Fall 2027 for the fully funded graduate assistantship position at the University of South Carolina, USA.
ELIGIBILITY:
Qualifications & expectations:
Degree in a related field. Ideally, a B.S. for Master’s applicants and M.S. for Ph.D. applicants
Ability to problem-solve, manage time effectively, and take ownership over research projects.
Experience and interest in conducting fieldwork in coastal environments
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when analyzing data and conducting behavioral and physiological experiments in the lab
Strong skills in written and oral communication
Effective collaboration with fellow students, PIs, and staff on site
Travel between the field lab in Georgetown and USC’s Columbia campus.
