KAUST VISITING STUDENT RESEARCH PROGAM

LOCATION: Saudi Arabia

This  is a unique program that offers students the chance to conduct innovative research at KAUST. Through this landmark internship, talented students can undertake research ranging across diverse disciplines and programs. Each year KAUST Internship is offered to 130 international students in 150+ projects. The duration of the internship is 3 to 6 months. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Undergraduate students in 3rd year or above and Masters Students.
Current PhD candidates, KAUST students or KAUST alumni are ineligible to apply

GPA 3.5/4 or 14/20 (ECTS B)

Strong verbal and written English Skills: Recommended levels, minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.5 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

The VSRP program applications are accepted throughout the year.

Woodrow Wilson Center Fellowship Programme

LOCATION: Washington, DC, USA

Through an international competition, the Center offers 9-month residential fellowships. The Wilson Center invites scholars, practitioners, journalists and public intellectuals to take part in its flagship international Fellowship Program.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to citizens or permanent residents from any country (applicants from countries outside the United States must hold a valid passport and be able to obtain a J-1 visa even if they are currently in the United States). Contact the Center if you have any questions about your eligibility to obtain a J1 visa.

Academic candidates must be at the post-doctoral level and have published a book or monograph beyond the Ph.D. dissertation.

Practitioners or policymakers with an equivalent level of professional achievement.

English proficiency as the Center is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas among its fellows.

BENEFITS:

The Center offers a stipend of $90,000 for a nine-month fellowship. Fellows are responsible for their own health insurance and travel expenses.
