Prospective international students can apply for funding towards the cost of tuition fees and living costs at University of Britol.

ELIGIBILITY:

You can apply if you:

are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes 

have applied to start any full-time undergraduate course, (excluding Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science) at the University of Bristol, starting in September 2024.

You do not need to have received an offer to study before submitting an international scholarship application.

Successful applicants will be contacted on or before Monday 8 April 2024

If you apply for this scholarship, you will also automatically be considered for any other University of Bristol international scholarships that you are eligible for. You do not need to submit two separate applications.

BENEFIT:

Scholarship awards for undergraduate international students are valued at £6,500 and £13,000 per year and can only be used towards the cost of tuition fees.

Applicants may also be eligible to receive a £3,000 living cost bursary during their first year of study.

GREEN CLIMATE FUND: KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND CLIMATE INTERN

The mission of the Green Climate Fund is to assist developing countries to respond to climate change while bringing prosperity to their people. The Intern will provide analytical and operational support to the Knowledge Management and Climate units in the ​Office of the Executive Director​. S/he will have the opportunity to learn and expand her/his experiences by providing assistance in relation to GCF subscriptions and memberships, knowledge product development, visual knowledge product development, knowledge partnerships, providing support to the team in preparing for internal and external engagements, presentations, and research and drafting of various assignments for the team, support to the climate impact network, and other priorities of the Office of the Executive Director. Apply for the internship program!

ELIGIBILITY:

Applications from women and nationals from developing countries are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Enrolled in Master’s program in International Relations, Law, Finance, Economics, Science or related fields;  

Knowledge and experience in analysing complex problems, data and processes; and coordinating collaboration between multiple stakeholders;  

Ability to multitask and deliver within tight timelines, while demonstrating attention to detail; 

Excellent drafting, presentation and communication skills; 

Good understanding and experience in climate change, climate finance and/or designing and implementing projects in developing countries is an added advantage; 

Proficiency in using standard software programs: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Asana or other project management software; 

Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of another United Nations language, in particular French and Spanish, and/or Portuguese is an advantage. 

BENEFIT:

Remuneration: US$ 1,300/month 

Duration: 6 months
