This scholarship is funded by Grace Lake Partners. In 2014, Ladi co-founded Grace Lake Partners (GLP), an investment and advisory firm that builds and operates businesses that address societal needs in Nigeria while creating economic value for the company and its shareholders.

The plight of many young Nigerians who cannot further their education weighs heavy on Ladi’s heart. This conviction led to the creation of the GLP Cares Foundation. The Foundation has provided numerous full scholarships to scholars to attend reputable private and public universities in Nigeria.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must be ordinarily resident in Nigeria.

Evidence of commitment to contribute to Nigeria’s development.  

Academic excellence, demonstrated through degree results and a GMAT or GRE score.

To apply, you must submit a complete MBA application and upload the scholarship essay in the ‘Funding’ section of the programme application form. 

Answer the following in no more than 500 words: How have you contributed to Nigeria’s development and/or how do you intend to contribute to Nigeria’s development in the future?

OXFORD BLACK LEADERS SCHOLARSHIPS

Application Deadline: There is no fixed application deadline for this scholarship.

LOCATION: England

The Oxford Black Leaders Scholarships offer Black and Mixed Black applicants who are ordinarily resident in the UK and North America financial support to pursue an Oxford MBA.

ELIGIBILITY:

These scholarships are intended to support exceptional candidates, who will enhance the diversity of the MBA class and the wider school and will go on to be outstanding leaders within their sectors.

Candidates must be ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom, United States, or Canada and of Black or Mixed Black ethnicity (determined via the ‘About You’ section of the MBA application form).

Awarded on the basis of academic excellence demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards, and other academic achievements.

Evidence of leadership, or leadership potential, in your community and/or career to date.

No additional application needed. Candidates must indicate their eligibility in the programme application form and include their ethnicity information in the ‘About you’ section.

There is no fixed application deadline for this scholarship.

All eligible offer-holders will be considered after each MBA admissions deadline. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of this scholarship in our later application stages, so early application to the MBA programme is recommended. 

BENEFIT:

Value: Up to £30,000 per scholarship. 

Number available: Three scholarships.

UK residents will also be considered for the Oxford University Black Academic Futures scheme, supported by Saïd Business School, which offers full funding and a stipend for living expenses.
