INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS AT SALZBURG GLOBAL SEMINAR

Salzburg Global convenes outstanding talent across generations, cultures and sectors to inspire new thinking and action, and to connect local innovators with global resources. They foster lasting networks and partnerships for creative, just and sustainable change.

ELIGIBILITY:

Interns are selected from across the world in a highly competitive process. While undergraduates who have completed at least three years of accredited study may apply, preference is given to recent college graduates or to those in early-stage graduate studies whose interests and skills align well with Salzburg Global’s programs and activities.

Salzburg Global makes every effort to select a diverse group of interns and to align their general and specific assignments to maximize both the learning experience interns receive and the contribution they can make.

Salzburg Global Seminar offers a number of three-month internship programs (non-accredited), which allow interns to not only enhance their skills and knowledge, but also access its impressive network of Salzburg Global Fellows.

BENEFIT:

Salzburg Global does provide interns with free room and board at Schloss Leopoldskron, travel from and return to the intern’s country of residence, insurance, and visa processing assistance.

ENERGY GLOBE AWARD

Application Deadline: 31 December, 2023

LOCATION: Austria

The objective of the ENERGY GLOBE Award is to present successful sustainable projects to a global audience and to demonstrate that for most of our environmental problems feasible solutions are already available.

ELIGIBILITY:

Any company, organization (i.e. NGO, club, school, university), individual or public authority that contributes to climate change and other environmental issues.

Thet award projects in the categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Youth. The are looking for projects that provide solutions to air, soil and water pollution, apply renewables and increase energy efficiency, demonstrate sustainable use of our planet’s resources, and contribute to the environmental education. No project is too big or too small!

An applicant can submit more than one project. A project can be submitted in any country, regardless of whether we have awarded a project in this country before.
