The university is delighted to be able to offer a scholarship that will benefit all of its international students, irrespective of nationality. This award is for self-funding international fee-paying students that meet eligibility criteria.

This scholarship is awarded on a student’s nationality (not where domiciled).
Attendance: Full-time

Study level: Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught, and Postgraduate Research

Students on discounted partnership programmes are not entitled to this scholarship.
For continuing students, the scholarship will be paid in subsequent years if progressing with an average of 60% or above.
The scholarship is automatically applied upon enrollment; there isn’t a requirement to apply.
All recipients will be awarded the scholarship as a fee reduction.
Illinois Wesleyan is able to award merit scholarships and other financial support for international students. Students who are not U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents are considered international students.
ELIGIBILITY:
These are offered to qualified international applicants with outstanding academic achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams.
Students who complete the admissions application are automatically considered for scholarships.
Additional Financial Aid Opportunities:
International students may submit the CSS PROFILE to be considered for additional financial support from IWU. The PROFILE provides a detailed analysis of an applicant’s financial resources. In addition to merit scholarships, international students may be eligible for IWU-funded scholarships, loans, and campus-employment opportunities for additional financial support, which are renewable for up to four years.
The preferred filing date of CSS PROFILE is March 1st.
BENEFIT:
Students can receive up to $38,000 per year in merit scholarships, and they are renewable for up to four years.
