Each year we have a number of International Excellence Scholarships available for students who have already demonstrated academic excellence or show potential to do so during their time at Swansea University.

Scholarships are awarded as a discount on tuition fees.  Full terms and conditions are available on the relevant application form.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be considered for a scholarship, 

You must be eligible for international fee status applying for International Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship

You must already hold an unconditional offer to study with Swansea University.

Applications for this scholarship will close on 29th August 2025.

BENEFIT:

Scholarships are awarded as a discount on tuition fees and worth up to £7,000*.  Full terms and conditions are available on the relevant application form.

*Up to £5,000 awarded in Year 1, and further £2,000 awarded in Year 2 subject to achieving a 70% average (for £5000 awardees only).

2025 NNPC – RENAISSANCE JV UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Nigeria

The Renaissance African Energy Company (Renaissance), operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV), invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian students to apply for the NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship. The scholarship aims to promote academic excellence and improve the skills of young Nigerians.

ELIGIBILITY:

This merit-based scholarship is in two categories – the National Merit Award (NM) and the Areas of Operation Merit Award.

National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all Nigerians

Areas of Operation Merit Award – Open to Nigerians who are indigenes of Renaissance’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States

Must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Must be registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in an accredited University in Nigeria.

Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity operating in the Oil and Gas Industry, national or international.

Evidence of being in 200 Level, with proof of admission into an undergraduate programme in the 2023/2024 academic session

Note:
RENAISSANCE and Its Joint Venture partners DO not demand payment from applicants.  The application is entirely FREE of charge. 

RENAISSANCE and its Joint Venture partners DO not assign ‘Representatives’/ ‘Agents’ to assist applicants or facilitate the application process. 

Applications open on the 20th of June 2025 and close on the 25th of July 2025. 

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the proctored computer-based test. 

Only successful candidates at each selection stage will be contacted. 

Applications must be processed ONLY through the Renaissance African Energy Company website. 

BENEFIT:

It provides a yearly grant to successful applicants for the duration of their undergraduate degree programme.
