Ferris State University is pleased to offer the Woodbridge N. Ferris Scholarship opportunities to an international student who is entering college for the first time. These scholarships are automatically awarded to students who are academically eligible.

ELIGIBILITY:

International student entering college for the first-time.

A student’s high school grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.

A student’s submitted score from either the ACT, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or PTE.

Founder’s Scholarship:

GPA requirement: 3.9/4.0
Test requirement: 31 ACT, 1350* SAT, 96 TOEFL,7.5 IELTS, 66 PTE or 120 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.3

President’s Scholarship:

GPA requirement: 3.7/4.0
Test requirement: 29 ACT, 1300* SAT, 88 TOEFL, 7.0 IELTS, 59 PTE or 115 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.3

Provost’s Scholarship:

GPA requirement: 3.5/4.0
Test requirement: 26 ACT, 1210* SAT, 80 TOEFL, 6.5 IELTS, 53 PTE or 110 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.0

Dean’s Scholarship:

GPA requirement: 3.25 – 3.49/4.0
Test requirement: 22 ACT, 1080* SAT, 67 TOEFL, 6.0 IELTS, 48 PTE or 100 Duolingo
Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.0

BENEFIT:

Founder’s Scholarship: Value – Up to $10,000 per year/$40,000 for four years

President’s Scholarship: Value – $6,500 per year/$26,000 for four years

Provost’s Scholarship: Value – $5,500 per year/$22,000 for four years

Dean’s Scholarship: Value – $4,500 per year/$18,000 for four years

CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME FOR FAO HEADQUARTERS (HQ)

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Internship Programme aims to attract talented young women and men who are strongly motivated to share their new perspectives, innovative ideas, and latest academic experience in FAO’s domains.

ELIGIBILITY:

Enrolled in an under-graduate, graduate degree programme in a “bona fide” educational institution at the time of application or recent graduate. Please note that FAO only considers higher educational qualifications obtained from an institution accredited/recognized in the World Higher Education Database (WHED), a list updated by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The list can be accessed at http://www.whed.net/
Candidates must specialize in a field relevant to the mission and work of FAO.
Working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian or Spanish). Knowledge of a second FAO language will be considered an asset. 
Be nationals of FAO Members
Candidates should be aged between 21 and 30.
Candidates should be able to adapt to an international multicultural environment and have good communication skills.
