UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER HUMANITARIAN SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Manchester Humanitarian Scholarship programme supports individuals at immediate risk who’ve been forced to flee their homes as a direct result of armed conflict by offering the opportunity to study at Manchester.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must meet all of the following:

You’re at serious risk due to war or conflict.

You had to leave your home country (or move within it) in the last three years because of conflict.

You cannot start or finish a university degree.

You’ve never studied in the UK or EU before.

You’ve applied for an undergraduate course starting in September 2026 at the University of Manchester.

You can explain why you want to study this course.

You’ve done well in your previous studies.

Please note: you can’t apply if you’re currently living in the UK or EU.

You don’t need to show proof of your English language skills when you apply through UCAS or when you apply for the scholarship. However, if you’re offered a place at the University of Manchester, you must meet the English language requirements stated in your offer letter. 

It’s important to note that the university does not accept Duolingo English test results.

Please note that the scholarship does not cover any pre-sessional English courses at the university.

Selection Process: No interview is required.

Your tuition fees (the cost of your course);

Living expenses (money for food, housing, etc.);

Visa costs.

ZERIBE NWOSU SCHOLARSHIPS 2026 FOR UNDERGRADUATE-POSTGRADUATE TRANSITION (5TH EDITION)

LOCATION: Nigeria

Application for the 2026 Zeribe Nwosu Scholarships (ZNS) is now open. NO FEE is required to submit this application or at any stage of the review process

ELIGIBILITY:

Scholarship Categories and Eligibility Criteria:

ZNS Undergraduate-Postgraduate Transition (4th-year Nigerian undergraduates in public institutions):

Should be in 4th year

Be in a Nigerian public university, college of education, polytechnic or other institution of higher learning

Should have a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 or 3.0 on the scale of 4.0

ZNS Innovative Teaching:

Should be a graduate of any Nigerian institution (public or private)

Should have a bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in education

Preference will be given to those actively teaching at the time of applying for the scholarship

Teachers in primary, secondary schools and higher institutions are welcome to apply

Should not have graduated more than 3 years ago.

ZNS Artificial Intelligence and Data Science:

Should be in 4th year or later

If a graduate, must have finished in 2023 or later

Should have a CGPA of at least 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 or 3.0 on the scale of 4.0

An applicant can apply for any or all three scholarships if eligible.

Students or graduates of any subject and from any part of Nigeria can apply if eligible.

The Zeribe Nwosu Scholarship will award a sum of ₦150,000 as cash support to successful applicants.
