KPMG EMBARK SCHOLARS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Embark Scholars program is a multi-year paid internship program focused on developing high performing college students through a comprehensive and innovative learning experience, enhancing their professional skills, industry expertise, and preparing them to be KPMG’s next generation of leaders.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must be pursuing or intending to pursue a Bachelor or Master of accounting (or other equivalent) or IT related degree from an accredited college/university and be interested in a career with a public accounting firm

Must have at least two years of education remaining prior to being eligible for full time employment

Preferred 3.0 or above GPA

Effective communication, leadership, and time management skills

Strong technical ability to meet the firm’s business objectives

Ability to work as a member of a team and display personal effectiveness and professionalism

BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY STATE UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: USA

Thanks to a generous anonymous family, 25 incoming undergraduate students per year will receive scholarships until the program reaches a steady state of 100 scholarships awarded. 

ELIGIBILITY:

All undergraduate applicants will be considered. There is no separate application required. 

A campus committee will select the scholarship recipients. If a scholarship recipient does not qualify for scholarship funds in a subsequent year due to missing the minimum GPA threshold, a new student in the same class year will be chosen by the committee to receive such scholarship funds.

 Criteria used for Binghamton scholarships include many factors such as academic merit, donor preferences, majors, program participation and very often financial need, as determined by the (FAFSA).

Students of exceptional achievement may be selected upon admission to Binghamton for one of three types of significant four-year scholarship commitments: President’s ScholarshipProvost’s Scholarship, and Dean’s Scholarship. There is no application process; awards are competitive and vary in amount. Full-time enrollment and minimum grade-point averages are required to maintain eligibility.

BENEFIT:

Twenty incoming first-year students receive a scholarship of $10,000 per year for up to four years of study, so long as the scholarship recipient maintains a specified GPA.

Five incoming first-year students will receive a scholarship up to the in-state full cost of attendance (approximately $30,000) per year for up to four years of undergraduate study, so long as the scholarship recipient maintains a specified GPA.
