WILSON CENTER SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The External Relations department at the Wilson Center seeks an energetic and self-motivated student or recent graduate interested in digital communication, public policy, and international affairs for a social media internship. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including business use of social media on various platforms. Interns will be responsible for contributing to social networks, participating in online outreach and promotion, and supporting events.

ELIGIBILITY:

Be enrolled in a degree program, recently graduated (within the last year), and/or have been accepted to enter an advanced degree program within the next year

Have experience or demonstrated interest in social media/marketing

Have excellent oral and written communication skills

Have an understanding of the Wilson Center’s work and mission

Understand how to work and communicate in a nonpartisan environment 

Have great attention to detail

Have in-depth working knowledge of Facebook, X (Formerly Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn

Have a basic knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, Buffer, or other social media management tools

Have experience (professional or personal) with content creation, including graphic design and short-form video production

e enrolled in a degree program, recently graduated (within the last year), and/or have been accepted to enter an advanced degree program within the next year

Have experience or demonstrated interest in social media/marketing

Have excellent oral and written communication skills

Have an understanding of the Wilson Center’s work and mission

Understand how to work and communicate in a nonpartisan environment

SALARY:  $17.80 per hour

ACCESS BANK WOMENPRENEUR PITCH-A-TON PROGRAM

The Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton program is the first women-in-business support initiative of its kind in the industry offered by Access Bank’s W Initiative. This year hosts the 6th season of the Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton in Nigeria and seeks to provide mini-MBA certification to another 120 women entrepreneurs as well as grants worth over N17.5 million Naira.

ELIGIBILITY:

1st Stage

Applicants must have an Access Bank account number (Individual or Business account)

Applicant must be a woman in Business with a minimum of 50% ownership

Applicant must be between the ages 18 to 55

Applicant’s Business must have been operating for over 1yr

Applicant must complete and submit the application form

2nd Stage

Applicant must submit a one-minute video pitch about the Business

Applicant must have a Business account with Access Bank

Applicant’s Business must be registered

Applicant must be available to undergo the Mini-MBA program physically in Lagos

BENEFIT:

They will provide mini-MBA certification to another 120 women entrepreneurs as well as grants worth over N17.5 million Naira.
