SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERN AT GOOGLE, CHINA

This internship is for applicants in their penultimate year program in Computer Science or a related technical field, with an anticipated graduation in 2025, depending on their program and unique circumstances.

ELIGIBILITY:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

Experience in Software Development and coding in a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.).

Ability to showcase tech projects and participate in computer science-related extracurricular activities.

Specific responsibilities vary by project area.

Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis and it is encouraged to apply early. The anticipated application window is open until Feb 09, 2024, but may close earlier if all available projects are full. Applications submitted after the application window or once role is closed/projects are full will not be considered.

GREEN CLIMATE FUND OFFICCE OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POLICY & STRATEGY INTERN

LOCATION: South Korea

The Intern will provide analytical and operational support to the ​Policy and Strategy Unit and Operations unit in the Office of the Executive Director​. S/he will have the opportunity to learn and expand her/his experiences by providing assistance in relation to implementation of the GCF Strategic Plan 2024-2027 and Secretariat 2024 work programme, supporting the delivery of the Secretariat policy cycle from development to implementation, project pipeline management and management of the Secretariat investment committees.  

ELIGIBILITY:

Enrolled in Master’s program in International Relations, Law, Finance, Economics, Science or related fields;  

Applications from women and nationals from developing countries are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Knowledge and experience in analyzing complex problems, data and processes; and coordinating collaboration between multiple stakeholders;  

Ability to multitask and deliver within tight timelines, while demonstrating attention to detail; 

Excellent drafting, presentation and communication skills; 

Good understanding and experience in climate change, climate finance and/or designing and implementing projects in developing countries is an added advantage; 

Proficiency in using standard software programs: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Asana or other project management software; 

Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of another United Nations language, in particular French and Spanish, and/or Portuguese is an advantage. 

BENEFIT:

Remuneration: US$ 1,300/month 

Duration: 6 months
